and Challenges

Located north of Seine Bight, this development is approved to include two 5-story condo buildings (40 units), pool, office, kitchen and laundry building (3 stories) and parking - all located on two 1-acre parcels and dwarfing the single family residences on both sides of the development.

(The building shown above is just the office/ kitchen/ reception/laundry building.  The condo buildings will be two stories higher than this building.)

Developer is Palmetto Holdings, Limited (Carlton Watson, principal), and the ECP for the development is dated 11 October 2007.)

Water to come from the Placencia/Seine Bight water supply.  Sewage will be treated by a Klargester AF-8 wastewater treatment system (or similar system).  Final effluent to be treated by chlorine tablets and either used for irrigation or stored in containers.  (Don't know where they are supposed to dump the containers.)  No wastewater can be discharged into the Placencia Lagoon or into the Caribbean.)

Building shown above seems to have been completed.  No construction work has started on condominums.
