seems to have been abandoned. Most of the property is now
owned by Atlantic Bank after foreclosure of the deveoper's mortgage.
Located in
northern Seine Bight Village near Nautical Inn. Developer is YB Holding
Company Limited. ECP dated 20 June 2007.
Approved development consists of 25 residential lots, with duplexes to
be built on 23 of the lots and 2 lots left open as green space.
Each of the duplexes are to be an octagonal building of 25' with a
maximum footprint of 1,900 square feet (950 square feet per unit).
The ECP does not mention seawall construction as shown at left.
No dredging or excavations permitted.
Water to be supplied from the Placencia/Seine Bight water system. Hydro
Action Treatment Plant AP 1500 G System Complete to be used for sewage
treatment, one package plant per 3 buildings.
Developer "encouraged" to
install, promote and maintain adequate
signage to inform/educate boat owners of the importance of the Placencia
Lagoon as a manatee habitat.
Developer has left Belize. Status of development is
unknown.
