The Los Porticos condo development is located on the
site of Kitty's Place. The Los Porticos ECP approves the following
development:
- Six condo buildings, each with 4 condos per building (24)
- One 4-storey building with 17 condos (17)
- One building to include an office, restaurant, conference center
and spa
- Swimming pool and poolside palapa bar
- Staff quarters measuring 20'x83' on the Placencia Lagoon side of
the Placencia Road
- Three condos to be constructed in an existing three-storey
building on property.
- Construction to be limited to the hours of 7 AM to 6
PM.
- Building height not to exceed 40 feet.
- No structures within 66 foot reserve except as
approved by Lands and Surveys Department for docks/piers.
- No dredging approved. Fill to come from established
quarries.
- Water to come from the Placencia/Seine Bight water
supply.
- Excess effluent from the sewage system to be disposed
of using gray water gardens/containment planters.
- Pool water cannot be discharged into the Lagoon or
the Sea, but must be filtered and recirculated, with wastewater
stored in retention tanks to be used for irrigation and fire
fighting.
- The developer must enter into an agreement with the
Placencia garbage disposal company.
- Parking required for at least 20 vehicles.
