Development:  Aqua World

According to the Environmental Compliance Plan
(ECP), Aqua World will be a 10.83 acre "eco-tourism" residential subdivision development built on 7 acres of land created out of the Placencia Lagoon and approximately 3 acres of interior waterways. 

Aqua World is owned, at least in part, by the family of Jose Coye, a former minister under the People's United Party.

The Aqua World ECP was approved in January 2008 and signed by Aqua World and the Department of the Environment on 4 July 2008.
